NaNoWriMo 2010

After seeing that Caroline from A Writer's Life for Me was doing NaNoWriMo, I decided to check it out. I've heard about it, but have never really known what it was. Well, it sounded like such a great idea that I decided to do it this year! I have an old story (or rather, an old outline) that I worked on for a short time - but the idea never took off. But today (while wondering what kind of story to write) my brother found some old drawings that I had done for this outlined story...and my interest in the story was rekindled. I'm really getting excited about this - it will be a great exercise! I'm always so critical on myself when it comes to editing my writing - so it will be great to be forced to just get the story out on paper.

So, find my NaNoWriMo button on the sidebar and check it out!

WOW! Good for you! I've never really aspired to actually write a novel myself, but I'd love to do this just for the fun of it! Sadly, I don't believe I'll have the time until I'm done with college. :( I can't wait to hear how everything turns out for you and the story!!!

Yeah, time is my biggest problem. =) I'm doing college and my senior year of high school...a little crazy. ;) I love to read before I go to bed - so I'm thinking I'll substitute writing for reading. =D

Yay, you're doing Nano!!! that's awesome to have another blogging buddy doing it:). And I can't wait to read some excerpts from your story! Do you want to be buddies on the Nanowrimo site? I don't want to leave my username here, but you could leave me a comment with yours and I won't publish it.:)
Go Nano-ers!!!!!:D

Yeah!! =) Actually, if it wasn't for you blogging about it, I probably wouldn't be doing it. =) So thanks for writing about it!!

Yep - I'd love to be buddies with you! I'll comment and give you my username. =)

That's exciting that you're doing NaNoWriMo! This is my first visit to your blog, and your photos are gorgeous! I love the leaves photo you entered for Emily's contest :) May I ask, what is the font you use for your post titles, and where did you download it from, because I think it's absolutely lovely?

Many blessings,
Annie

Thanks for stopping by, Annie! =) The font I used is called Windsong, and you can download it from Dafont (http://www.dafont.com/search.php?psize=m&q=windsong). Thank you so much! =)
