First Day of School...;)

Well, today was our first day of school. We started a little later than most people because we were on vacation beforehand... Our family (of eight!) homeschools, and there's always a lot of preperation. =) I spent some time last night completely clearing out my desk and hutch. Here's the before photo -

And a few hours later...

Sorry for the green/blue quality of the photos...the lighting was bad. =L I'm so relieved to have a clean, orderly desk. It makes homework so much easier! =)

The book on the far right is an over-100-year-old history of England by Dickens...definitely a treasure! ;)

Both these books cost a dollar each. =)

...and my old MN bike "license plate."

How did your first day of school go?

My Sadly Overdue Post on the Pen Show. =L

Well, I’ve been meaning to post these photos, but we’ve had a hard week.

Two weeks ago we went to a pen show near us – and just to clarify, a pen show is where companies and pen enthusiasts gather to buy, sell, and trade fountain pens. Well, we got to go and we had a blast. I bought two pens (one was an 100-year old dip pen!) and was given two. Enjoy the photos!

(I had to put in the two photos the the flowers, too!)

Don’t forget to check out my website at www.hannahrosephotography.net!

I’ve edited it a bit since my last post…check it out!

(Note: on the page it has two links – one to my website, one to my blog. =)  )
