It's day two of the 30 day challenge! Well, I have many favorite movies (Pride and Prejudice, Lord of the Rings, Batman, Spiderman, Sense and Sensibility, Emma...) but I guess that if I had to pick my top favorite it would be Jane Eyre.
Oh, I love this movie. There are three scenes we skip, but other than that it is just the best. Jane is not your average heroine, being very quiet, respectful, and generally thinks of herself as insignificant. And Mr. Rochester isn't average either - no one but Jane ever really understands him.
So. That's my favorite movie. ;) Go out and see it if you haven't!!

I tried watching the BBC A&E version of Jane Eyre but I was so creeped out by the first 10 minutes that I couldn't watch any more.
So, do you think I should try it again? Is the BBC version the best?
I'm sorry but I really dislike Jane Eyre...I've tried several times cause my friends all love it but I really, really don't like it.

Yeah, May, I know - the beginning is a little creepy. But it gets so much better!! ;) I do think you should try it again. (The only problem scenes involve intense kissing...we normally skip that. Other than those it's amazing!! ;) )

Hannah, it looks like we have similar tastes in Movies. I like all the ones you listed, although I would put Sense and Sensibility as my all time favorite. And I would add A Christmas Carol to be right up there at the top too. I love it any time of year!
Oh, I know - Sense and Sensibility is one of the best movies ever! =D I had a hard time picking just one! (And a I love A Christmas Carol, too! We just saw it again. ;) )
I think my favorite movies would be (though it's SO hard to chose!)
Pirates of the Caribbean and Guardians of Ga'Hoole. They are so trilling, and I love their theme songs.
I also LOVE Lord of the Rings and Pride and Prejudice (the old one), and also Batman.
