More to Come…

I haven’t had as much time to blog recently, but I am planning on posting more photos as soon as I can! =)

My dad just gave me a laptop (to help with online college courses, photo storage, and general computer performance) so we still need to transfer my hundreds of photos from my desktop computer to my laptop…so it will be a while until that process is completed! For now, here’s a photo from a few days ago…

JoAnn Prom Dress Contest 2010

Back in May I saw that JoAnn was hosting its third annual prom dress competition, and I decided to enter. I had a blast designing and sewing the dress, and it was fun to end up saving 50% on my supplies. =) The prizes are enormous - $50,000 for first, $10,000 for second, $5,000 for third, and there are seven more prizes after that! Well, I wasn't selected as one of the twenty semi-finalists (There were over 3,000 entries!) but I had fun and it was a good experience. I'm definitely going to enter next year though! Hopefully I'll get an idea of what the judges are looking for from this years winner photos. (They have yet to announce them)

From the Week…

What with another round of blueberry picking, riding bikes, and tons of butterflies, the pictures sort of piled up. =) Here they are.

   

 

Blueberries at Dawn and the Fourth

On Wednesday our family got to pick blueberries with a close family. We had a lot of fun together, and I got some fun pictures! Here they are (with late photos of our Fourth of July celebration…backyard fireworks and all!)
