And the Cover Is...

So, the final cover...

Well. I will begin with the results from the poll. A surprising amount of people favored the book cover that another girl did for me -

And many favored this one -

Unfortunately, I was not able to use the cover pictured above because the person who distributed it did so unlawfully. (And didn't come out with a statement about it - so I didn't find out till later.)

BUT...there is a new one. Here it is.

And THIS is the back and the front -

So, what do you think?

Oh wow!! This is incredible! =] I love it! So are you actually going to get it published?! I really need to sign myself up for NaNoWriMo sometime. Perhaps when I'm done with school! Do they have it during the summer do you know?

Thanks!! I really would love to publish it - there don't seem to be quite as many historical-fiction books about the Civil War, so I think I might have a chance. =D

Well, NaNoWriMo only goes during November, but there are other challenges that go year-round -

p.s. who is the cute girl on the cover?

She's actually an English girl named Lucy. She took this photo herself and is really into photography! I asked her if I could use the photo and she was really excited to let me use it! ;)
